The 31st May auction proved to be an exceptional sale for Foxhill Auctions, with rare coins, historic banknotes and numismatic rarities attracting strong interest from bidders across the globe.
Leading the sale was a James I Gold Unite (Good VF+), which realised £4,500, closely followed by a scarce 1888 Cocos Islands Emergency Currency Set with original envelope at £4,300. Other notable results included a 1613–1615 James I Gold Unite at £3,800, a Kyzikos, Mysia Gold Stater at £1,800, and a collection of three Far Eastern silver coins at £1,600.
